Israel’s Best Gymborees/Mischakiyas

August 31st 2017

If you’re traveling to Israel with some rowdy little ones, you’re likely looking for places to give them the opportunity to let off some steam and release energy without too much collateral damage. While hikes are a great option for older kids and teens, something more contained is required for less active kids. The solution? Israel’s excellent collection of jumping castles, gymborees, and mischakiyas of course! Here are some of the best ones you’ll find throughout the country.

iJump

iJump is certainly one of the coolest gymborees anywhere. Picture this: an indoor climbing apparatus, obstacle course, and sporting arena…all set atop giant trampolines! That’s right, you and your kids (they get just as many adults visiting as kids) can bounce like there’s no tomorrow in this exhilarating and freeing iJump experience.

Where: Locations in Haifa, Petah Tikva, Tel Aviv, Beer Sheba, Metulla, and more soon to come

Ba-Lagan

This colossal four-story play area lets kids jump, slide, and game their way to a great day. And, the best part is that all this entertainment comes completely free! There are areas for kids ages 2-5 or 5-8, so direct yourself to the right section for you.

Where: Gan Ha’ir Mall, 71 Ibn Gabirol Street, Tel Aviv

Sky Jump

Also known as Sky Park, this is the same idea as iJump only in Raanana. Certainly, a great day of action and excitement if you’re in the area (and worth heading up north if you’re not!)

Where: 2 HaYetsira St., Ra’anana

There’s also AquaKef if you’re ready to get wet (summer season only), climbing walls, and the tamer playrooms like Picolonia. What’s more, most of these playrooms are great for letting off steam in the summer or finding solace in the winter. Let your kids jump, dive, and soar through latex protected wonderlands, and you know at least part of the family will walk away with great memories of their vacation in Israel!
