Ambiance

This Asian fusion restaurant is located in the upscale neighborhood of Rechavia and is situated just below The Windmill, a historic monument in Jerusalem. Sheyan has done an exquisite job of creating a luxurious and authentic ambiance with dim lights and Asian-inspired greenery and décor – even the dishes and furniture have an elegant Chinese style, to master the perfect atmosphere for this classy restaurant.

Menu

Sheyan serves Chinese/Asian dishes with a unique blend of flavors. They consider their menu to be a fusion of Asian spicing with some Israeli zest. Exotic dishes include paired beef in a mango and kiwi sauce, ginger-spiced sea bass, and of course a variety of delicious sushi platters. All meals can be complemented with a nice wine selection.

Specialty

Sheyan’s specialty lies in the unique flavors that they add to their food, making an ordinary dish really pop. Entrecote is just a steak, but when Sheyan serves it with eggplant, chili, and sesame oil, it becomes something different, exotic, sensational.

Pricing

A main course at Sheyan will run you between 75-100 NIS, with side dishes costing another 20-50 NIS. While your meal might be a bit pricey, if you’re only doing this just once this trip, you certainly won’t regret it.
