December 2nd 2010
Visit the Rubin Museum in the center of historic Tel Aviv. The museum is the former home of famous Israeli painter, Reuven Rubin. Rubin worked here from 1946 until his death in 1974. In 1983, this quaint house on Bialik street was opened to the public to showcase his work. Inside the museum is a permanent collection of Rubin’s art which display his life and creations. There are also periodic guest exhibits on display in the Rubin Museum, which tend to focus on Israeli art throughout its early period. Children can enjoy an activity area and families can watch a short documentary on Rubin’s life.
