Between the holidays of Sukkot, Simchat Torah, and Hoshana Rabba, and all the cultural events going on, October is one busy month for Israeli tourists! If you’re visiting this beautiful country during this time, check out some of the most happening events you won’t want to miss.

Art

If it’s art you’re looking for, then October is a great month to be around. You can catch several exciting exhibits featuring some of the most contemporary artists both local and international talents being displayed. Check out a few of the fabulous shows that will be on display this month around Israel:

Music

And, don’t miss out on the semi-annual Abu Gosh Music Festival. This epic event takes place a couple of times each year, and it is always a smashing success when it does. The festival runs from October 11th-14th.

Culture

Once you’ve had your film of art and music, it’s time to take a seat. At the Haifa Film Festival, of course. The 33rd annual event is being held at the Haifa Cinematheque and other local theaters and will feature more than 80 high-profile names from the film industry. Select from more than 280 screenings from across the globe and be amazed.
