The tour guide made the biggest difference in the world. Shalom only uses the best native Israeli guides – who convey the heart and everyday realities of an Israeli to the tourist. To get inside their head is a completely different experience, and very moving- to me, my husband and our 13yr old twins. They verbalized how the guide touched their minds and hearts. Other tours didn’t impact me this way. Also, Shalom is very responsive and helpful with advice & tips to ensure you’re prepared in every detail.
