1. Yamit 2000 Yamit 2000 Water Park

Yamit is arguably the most impressive of all of Israel’s water parks. Over 35 acres in the central city of Holon, Yamit 2000 is actually five different parks combined into one. Yamit Central Water Park features a variety of swimming pools, such as heated wave pools and covered pools, so every member of the family will find someplace to play. Yamit Extreme Park features 20 different slides, including the Space Bowl, the Super Kamikaze, the Black Hole and the Banana Jump. Yamit Kids’ World is heaven for children up to age 12. Kids’ World features tropical kiddie pools, child-sized slides, waterfalls, caves and much more.

Yamit Spa offers adults five different kinds of Jacuzzis, a Turkish bath along with wet and dry saunas. Luxurious massage treatments are available for additional fees. And finally, Yamit Sport boasts a sports complex that includes fields for soccer, basketball, tennis, dodgeball, squash courts and more.

  1. Shefayim Shefayim Water Park

Located just 10 minutes north of Herzliya on the central Mediterranean coast, Shefayim Water Park covers 24 acres. Open between May and October, the site is a recreational haven, including a water park, paintball fields, eateries and plenty of umbrella-shaded seating. There are abundant colorful and challenging slides, tunnels and inner tube rides for older children and adults.

For the younger set, you’ll find sprinklers, wading pools and shorter, gentler slides. Popular with summer camps, groups, schools, community programs, corporate groups and individual families, Shefayim Water Park is a great destination for tourist families as well. For more soaky fun in the area, the hot springs of Ga’ash are just a few minutes away.

  1. Luna Gal Luna Gal Water Park

Located on the eastern side of the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee), Luna Gal was the first major water park in Israel. It offers heart-pumping fun on the Kamikaze water slides, Hurricane track, the 40-foot-high Typhoon ride and a tube slide that operates in total darkness. As in other water parks, there are plenty of gentle, animal-themed slides and shallow pools for younger children.

A lagoon, paddle boats, tubing and other water sports, along with shaded eucalyptus groves for picnicking and nearby camping facilities, make Luna Gal a fun destination for the whole family.
