Israel Back to School FREE Spots for Mom & Dad
September 21st 2016
Now that the little ones are finally settled back into their regular school routines, exhausted moms and dads everywhere can breathe a huge sigh of relief. Most parents are happy to just sit and appreciate the magical sound of silence echoing through their homes, offices, and head space, content in the knowledge that their little ones are being cared for. Some parents need something more, and, frankly, they deserve it! If you want to treat yourself to a well-deserved night on the town that won’t break the bank (after all, our bank accounts need a break too after that expensive summer!), then you’ll want to check out some of the most romantic, peaceful, and FREE locations where you can go to unwind.
The Old City
Go to any rooftop in the Old City of Jerusalem, and stare out at the expansive scenery for an unforgettable evening. Whether you look up at the endless sky of stars and enveloping space or straight across at the beautiful city skyline, these sites will take your breath away, and invigorate you once more. Aish HaTorah has a particularly stunning rooftop viewing area as does the Tower of David, Yeshivat HaKotel, and many others.
Jerusalem Rose Garden
This magical place has had more than its fair share of romantic memories. From surprise proposals to romantic anniversary strolls and more, the majestic flower-lined paths will put you in the mood for love and help you mellow out after a long summer with the kids. Stroll through more than 15,000 rose bushes that contain 400+ varieties of these lovely flowers in full bloom.

HaYarkon Park
HaYarkon Park is the largest park in all of Israel, and it is also possibly the most beautiful. With lush greenery flanking all sides of the crystal clear blue lake, tourists and locals can ride bicycles, stroll along the lovely paths, or take a romantic boat ride (for a fee) along the beautiful water. Just the thing to recharge and refresh your mind, body, and soul.
Boardwalking
Israel is also famous for its stunning boardwalks. Whether you like the aquamarine blue along the sides of the Tiberius boardwalk or prefer the exciting deep blue by the Tel Aviv port, there’s a majestic strip of coast waiting for you to take your romantic stroll along its path.
