JERUSALEM’S OLD CITY – THE ETERNAL CAPITAL

City of King David

Set foot on the same path that kings and prophets walked on over 3,800 years ago as you hear the story of how the ancient city of Jerusalem was born.  Explore passageways that were used by Jerusalem’s conquerors, and view ancient walls and fortifications on this mysterious and fascinating journey through history.

Western Wall Tunnels

Descend into these infamous tunnels that are enriched with thousands of years of history. These tunnels tell the story of the ancient Jews living during the period of the two temples.

King David’s Tomb

The great King David; a figure most notably famous for composing the Book of Psalms and establishing a unified capital in Jerusalem for the tribes of Israel. As you visit the 1,000 year old building that houses his grave, take part in a common Jewish custom for the site by reciting one of his powerful psalms in the anteroom situated right next to the holy tomb.

Tower of David Museum

At this one-of-a-kind museum, visitors travel back in time and walk through 4,000 years of Jerusalem’s beautiful history. THE JUDEAN DESERT – KING HERRODS FORTRESS

After breakfast we’ll descent south through the Jordan Valley to the lowest point on Earth.  Ride via cable car to the top of Masada and explore what remains of King Herod’s palace.   It is here that Eleazer Ben Yair and his 959 followers kept the Roman Legion at bay for 3 years.

Dead Sea Float & Mud Experience

Its “water” is five times saltier than the ocean and contains unique healing qualities. Enjoy a relaxing, therapeutic day in this oasis of warm, buoyant water and mineral-rich mud in the middle of the Judean Wilderness!  Read the paper while floating on the dense, salty water, and lather yourself with the nutrient-filled mud—an all-around luxurious day!

Ein Gedi National Park

In the days of the Bible, David hid from Saul amongst these rivers, canyons, and rich vegetation. Today, Ein Gedi serves as a modern refuge from city life and from the arid desert. HOLY HEBRON – THE ANCIENT CITY OF EARTH
