DAY 1 Sunday
WELCOME TO ISRAEL!
VIP Arrival
Before clearing passport control a SHALOM ISRAEL TOURS representative will be waiting to welcome you as you exit the plane. Your party will be transported quickly through the airport, pass immigration at a private passport control counter and continue to facilitate luggage identification and handling.
Ascend to Jerusalem
Arrive in Jerusalem and ascend the Haas Promenade (Tayalet). In a single view you will perceive the both Old City and the expanse of modern Jerusalem. This unique site helps us understand why the Talmud says that out of the ten beauties in the world, nine of them are located in the city of Jerusalem. There is no better place to start your adventure.

Day 2 Monday
JUDEAN PLAINS
Judean Plains Hiking, Rappelling, and Zipline!
After breakfast we will head down into the Judean Plains to the Shilat Cliff: a beautiful cliff in the middle of the unique Ben Shemen Forest, a 15-minute drive from Jerusalem. With a running stream below, we will go both rappelling and top rope rock climbing. For larger groups, we offer the option of building a special huge, steep, long zip line – the longest in Israel – from the top of the cliff down to the bottom of the cliff!
Beit Guvrin Archeological Seminar
A rare opportunity which allows you to touch your roots, we will get to dig, sift, and tour the National Park of Beit Guvrin which includes an exciting crawl through unexcavated cave systems!
Ammunition Hill 1967 War Memorial
We will return to Jerusalem and memorialize the lives of those who fought and died at Ammunition Hill, the site of one of the bloodiest battles fought during the 1967 Six Day War.

Day 3 Tuesday
ANCIENT JERUSALEM
Jerusalem’s Old City Jewish Quarter
After breakfast we will enter the Old City via the Jaffa Gate and continue into the Jewish Quarter- one of the single-most visited spots in Israel. It is the home of the only surviving piece of wall from the Holy Temple, and is surrounded by museums and archeological sites that tell the story of the Jewish people in the area.
City of David
Embark on a fascinating tour of the City of King David Archeological Park. There you will see over 3.800 years of history, dating back to the time of Abraham, to when the earliest foundations of Jerusalem were first laid. Take a journey to some of the latest archaeological digs going on in the area while you are there.
Off Road Adventure
We will spend our afternoon on ATV trails in the Jerusalem Mountains between forests and rivers along the village of Motza and Beit Zeit, Jerusalem’s most beautiful terrain.
Tower of David
In the evening the walls of the Tower of David Museum Citadel serve as a stage for a nighttime show which is a celebration of sight and sound. Amidst the archaeological remains in the Citadel’s courtyard and to the sound of original music, the story of Jerusalem unfolds through giant breathtaking, virtual reality images.

Day 4 Wednesday
MASADA & THE DEA SEA
Judean Desert
After breakfast we will start our adventure in Ein Farah, a beautiful national park in the beginning of the Judean desert 15 minutes south of Jerusalem. Here we find a magnificent canyon with running springs of water, small pools for the kids that include fish, picnic areas, and the inviting aroma of eucalyptus trees. The canyon has a north cliff and a south cliff; we will rock climb on the north cliff.
Qumran Valley Hiking & Rappelling
Another option in the Judean desert is the Qumran Valley (Nachal Qumran), a famous national archeological natural canyon. This is a remarkable desert hike that includes rappelling, spectacular views, unique birds and desert animals. We start the hike up hill towards the top of the canyon, passing through a dry river bed and five waterless waterfalls. We pass the waterfalls by rappelling through them. This hike and rappelling are on the simpler side, with smaller rappels making it more fit for beginners.
Masada
Explore Masada’s ancient fortification remains, King Herod’s palace, the baths, cisterns, and barracks, and the modern Masada museum. Be inspired by the tales of human endurance, and enjoy spectacular views of the Judean Desert.
Dead Sea
Spend the evening relaxing at your Dead Sea hotel. Indulge at a five-star spa, read the paper while floating on the dense, salty water, and lather yourself with the nutrient-filled mud.

DAY 5 Thursday
RAMON CRATER
Makhtesh Ramon
Makhtesh Ramon (Ramon Crater) offers plenty of hiking routes and adventures for desert-lovers. The spectacular views, the unique geological phenomenon, and the peace and quiet of the desert are all merge into a paramount of beauty in Makhtesh Ramon.
Mitzpe Ramon Visitors Center
The Mitzpe Ramon Visitors Center is situated on the very edge of Ramon Crater. Visitors can learn about geography and geology of the place from large models. An audio-visual production describes the formation of the Negev and its craters, illustrates the history of settlement in the Negev, its flora and fauna. Through the picture window from the center’s rooftop observation deck there is a breathtaking view to the crater.
Crater Jeeping
After a short introductory view of the majestic Ramon Crater we will descend by jeep into it’s depths via the Atzmaut Pass which winds it’s way down the northern wall of this huge crater like formation. We will continue to the summit of Mount Gvanim, on a trail that only a jeep can go, from where we will be able to see the whole circumference of the Machtesh and learn alittle about the recent history of this region.
The Albert Promenade
A trail decorated with impressive environmental sculptures – starts from the Visitors Center and goes along the edge of the Ramon Crater. In the middle of the promenade there is a “bird balcony” which hangs above the crater and offers the best view around over the crater.
Star Gazing
As the Ramon Crater is removed from the “light pollution” of the cities, enjoy an evening of breathtaking beauty looking at the sky’s above.

DAY 6 Friday
EILAT
Timna Park
After breakfast we will depart from the Ramon Crater and visit the world’s oldest copper mines at the Timna Valley Park. Walk around to see the beautiful sandstone formations, rock carvings, and even an ancient Egyptian temple that was built here thousands of years ago!
Arrive in Eilat
We will arrive in Eilat for some luxury ‘down time’ to rejuvenate, relax, and enjoy Israel’s southern most city and resort town.
Eilat Bay
If you love to swim, snorkel, or scuba dive and want to enjoy a magnificent glimpse into the sea life that lives in the Red Sea, including colorful fish and beautiful corals, visit the Eilat Bay, all you need is a bathing suit, flippers, snorkel, and a mask!
Dolphin Beach
Want to swim with dolphins? Get your chance at Dolphin Reef. Right on the shores of the Red Sea, dolphins come around and play and go swimming. If you want to get close but don’t want to get in the water, there are floating piers dolphins come visit. Petting is welcome!
Underwater Observation Marine Park
If you want to see Red Sea aquatic life and corals in their environment, head to The Underwater Observation Marine Park. Aside from a shark tank and other fish exhibitions, you are invited to go down into the water and observe the fish as they live in their habitat.
Snuba Diving Trips
Embark on an underwater adventure through the easy scuba-like activity of snuba! This underwater experience is great for beginners who want to get close to the amazing fish life and stunning corals located in the Red Sea but don’t know how to scuba dive. SNUBA combines the ease of SNorkeling with the abilities of scUBA divers to remain underwater with the heavy air tank remaining on a small, inflatable boat above the divers.
Kings City Eilat
Pack up and take the family to Kings City Eilat, a biblical-themed amusement park. At Kings City Eilat, kids can learn about the history and wisdom of King Solomon while playing games and going on rides, including a water ride through waterfalls.

PETRA
Eilat Day at Leisure
Spend the day relaxing in Eilat and rejuvenate for the rest of your Israel Adventure. If you still need more adventure, enjoy a day trip into Jordan to visit the Lost City of Petra.
Petra Day Trip
Early morning breakfast and departure to begin our Petra Adventure! Arriving at the Arava border crossing we enter the Kingdom of Jordan, from here a 2 hour drive takes us to the ‘Lost City of Petra. Counted amongst the wonders of the ancient world, Petra is an archeological, anthropological and geological phenomenon. Your guide will explain the history, legends, myths and truths of this astonishing city carved 2000 years ago from the red Sandstone Mountains.

Day 8 Sunday
COASTAL ISRAEL
Fly to Tel Aviv
After breakfast we will check out of our hotel and take a short hour flight to Sde Dov Airport in northern Tel Aviv to meet our bus and head north along Israel’s coast.
Ancient City of Caesarea
Travel back to the period of the Romans when you visit the Ancient City of Caesarea.
The Caesarea National Park contains an impressive Roman Amphitheatre, the Hippodrome, a horse-racing arena that could seat 20,000; also a giant headless statue on Byzantine Street & Mansion, and the Roman Aqueducts. The CaesareaTime Tower combines 3-D imaging technology with the local structures to bring history ‘truly’ to life!
Mount Carmel
Visit Mount Carmel and your day will be full of breathtaking views and magnificent hikes throughout the Carmel region. Here you will see beautiful flora and fauna, and certain parts of the national park are open for camping under the northern Israeli stars.
Haifa Cable Car
If you ever wanted to view Haifa and the surrounding area from a high vantage point, then take a ride on the Haifa Cable Car. It drops you off right at Mount Carmel’s ridge and you can observe the Haifa Harbor, the Mediterranean, and the surrounding land.
The Bahai Gardens
Step foot inside the Bahai Gardens and visit the “The Eighth Wonder of the World.” The magnificence of the garden will offer you feelings of tranquility and enchantment and is considered the most striking landmark in the city of Haifa.

GOLAN HEIGHTS
Black Canyon (advanced option)
The Black Canyon (Nakik Shachor) is the most exciting site in Israel for snapling in rushing water. The Black Canyon is considered to be the best repelling course in Israel. Included in your journey you will repel through stunning waterfalls, jump into refreshing pools of natural water from 10–20 feet high, hike up and down the canyon, and repel down cliffs that all levels of experience can enjoy. All along the way you experience the beauty of the land and one the finest outdoor hikes that Israel has to offer.
Yehodiya Adventure (intermediate option)
The beautiful Yehodiya adventure is a six hour hike through a gorgeous volcanic canyon in the Golan Mountains along a marked trail. It passes along narrow paths, steep descents (some using ladders), and spectacular scenery. Along the way we pass huge waterfalls and pools, and we walk through the water in some places. It is accessible to all good hikers, and can be accomplished without any rappelling
Ancient Tzfat
Tzfat (Safed) is one of the four holy cities in Israel. It has been a spiritual center since the 1600s when it was the center of Kabbala (Jewish mysticism). One of Israel’s holiest cities awaits soul-seekers, nature enthusiasts, and historians to its cobblestone, art-line streets, majestic mountains, and Kabala-infused atmosphere.
Tzfat Artists Quarter
Browse Israel’s best religious art as you wander through the narrow, cobblestone streets of Tzfat’s Artists Quarter. You’ll see men and women deeply engaged in the creative, often religious, process of artistry; yet the friendly artists always have time to speak with tourists who pop into their workshops.
BBQ & Klezmer Concert
Enjoy a BBQ dinner and private Klezmer Concert while the sun sets of the Mountains…

DAY 10 Wednesday
GALILEE
Ma’arat haKeshet – Rainbow Cave
It’s known as the most beautiful view in Israel. From the highest point in the Western Galilee you have a vista that extends from the sparkling Mediterranean Sea to Akko, Haifa, Nahariya – the entire Galilee, and well into Lebanon. There is a mammoth natural stone arch bridging the mountains. You can rappel off this arch through the air with this full, amazing view surrounding you. It’s a marvelous experience. We use cables to take the adventurous 25-minute beautiful hike back up – accompanied by many curious mountain goats.
Galil Mountain Winery
There are five vineyards to the Galil Mountain Winery, each enriching the variety of quality produce. The visitors’ centre offers a wonderful view of the landscape, as well as the the inner halls with their stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. Enjoy a guided tour with remarkable wine-tastings!

Day 11 Thursday
JAZREEL VALLEY
Yechi’am Fortress National Park
Take a trip to Yechi’am Fortress National Park! As an intact crusader fortress from the twelfth century, the area was proven to be useful during the War of Independence. At the park there are also other archaeological wonders that transport you back to the ancient days.
Zippori National Park
Visit the Zippori National Park which houses the remains of a well-intact Roman village including some of the most famous floor mosaics in the world, including the “Mona Lisa of the Galilee.”
Nachlat Binyamin Arts & Crafts Fair
Arrive in Tel Aviv to visit the Nachlat Binyamin Arts & Crafts Fair. Every Tuesday and Friday, Nachlat Binyamin Street comes alive with the Arts and Crafts Fair. Displaying Israeli made crafts, including jewelry and other interesting one-of-a-kind gifts, this fair is a great place to buy gifts, pamper yourself, and people-watch.

Day 12 Friday
TEL AVIV
Independence Hall
After breakfast be a part of the momentous day in Israel’s history and experience the emotional moment when Ben Gurion established of the State of Israel with the signing of the Declaration of Independence at Independence Hall. Hear his voice on the speaker and feel yourself being taken back in time to this historic event where a Jewish nation was declared.
The Palmach Museum
Follow a Palmach unit as they tell their story from their recruitment date right until the War of Independence. The Palmach Museum allows for an interactive experience so you can feel as though you are a part of this historic event, honoring these historic men.
Azrieli Observatory
The Azrieli Observatory enables all individuals who come up to the 49th floor the ability to have a bird’s eye view of the beauty that is Tel Aviv. On clear days, you can even see Jerusalem to the east. Point out your favorite spots in this city from many meters up.

White Sand Beaches
Spend the day relaxing in Tel Aviv. Walk along the white Tel Aviv beaches, enjoy lunch at your hotel, sit by the pool and rejuvenate fro your adventure in Israel!

Tel Aviv Port holds a world of leisure and entertainment along the beautiful shoreline, including live performances, art exhibitions, shopping, weekend markets, and an amazing culinary experience for your palette, brought to you by some of the best restaurants and chefs in Tel Aviv.
Tel Aviv – Jaffa Promenade
Visit the Jaffa Promenade that goes from Jaffa all the way to the Old Port in Tel Aviv. The promenade gives tourists an amazing view of the skyline of Tel Aviv as well as a new perspective of the beauty of the city, set to the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea.

In the evening transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for the departure flight home where you will be met by a SHALOM ISRAEL TOURS representative will be waiting to assist you in your temporary departure from Israel.
