The IDF History Museum

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) History Museum is a three-story museum exhibit that showcases the history and development of the IDF military forces from the British Mandate period before the creation of the state of Israel and its ensuing struggle from 1948 until today. Through the use of maps, photographs, and historical documents, the museum shows visitors a complete history of the military. There are also many films visitors can watch to get even a better understanding of this military might which has dominated the region since even before Israel was created. The museum also houses a collection of weapons, including many rare weapons, and modern exhibits showcasing the strength of the IDF today.
