There’s no better way to start your day than with Uzi-Eli the Yemenite healer. A third generation healer, Uzi-Eli draws from his family traditions and the teachings of Maimonides to create healing drinks and natural remedies for good health and happiness. He’s famous for his uplifting etrog drink. We’ll hear his story, good humor, and see what special drink he has to offer.

Pereg: Gourmet Spices

Experience a treat for all your senses! Pereg was established in 1906 as a family business, and the secrets of spices have been passed down from generation to generation. Sample beautiful, aromatic, tasty spice mixtures and learn how to spice up rice the Pereg  way.

Fresh Fruit Stand

We’ll stop at a classic shuk fruit stand and take a taste of whatever is the freshest fruit the vender has to offer us.

Basher Fromagerie: Gourmet Cheeses

A cheese adventure you won’t forget! When Eli Basher took over his grandfather’s shuk stand he converted it into a center for epicurean shuk shoppers. Sample the finest cheeses from Israel and abroad and enjoy the entertaining expertise of the shop’s staff.

Halva Kingdom: Master’s of Halva

Whole sesame halva, shredded halva, halva bars, halva chunks. Cappuccino halva, pecan halva, chocolate chip halva, craison halva, pistachio halva – who knew there were so many types of halva?! Sample delectable halva you never even knew existed and learn about how this delectable treat is created.

Pastry Stand

We’ll end off with dessert! Take a fresh pastry and one for the road.
