The Jaffa Promenade

September 13th 2010

The Jaffa Promenade, or tayelet in Hebrew, runs 14 kilometers along the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, and has become an essential part of Tel Aviv’s lifestyle and a major attraction for tourists.

Jaffa Promenade

There are a number of restaurants and shops along the promenade, as well as street performances, unique vendors, avid joggers, and cyclists, all against a beautiful backdrop. It is also perfect for that romantic walk with a significant other as the sun sets over the water. There are benches for visitors to sit at, relax, and take in the view. When guests walk along the promenade, on one side is the beach and the other side is full of modern buildings and hotels. Each part of the promenade has character that no one should miss out on.
