Fish Market Restaurant

December 2nd 2016

Fish Market is the only place to be if you enjoy an enticing fillet of salmon, pepper carpaccio, or a nice tappas platter. Serving their dishes straight from the market, Fish Market offers diners the freshest fish with delightful sides and an airy atmosphere in which to enjoy it.

Ambiance

Fish Market is set up with Greek-style decor. The tables and chairs are a fresh, shabby, chic white and the dishes are a Mediterranean blue. The Market has both indoor and outdoor seating areas, and both offer diners an open and attractive place to partake in their flavorful dishes.

Menu

In addition to their business lunch, Fish Market has a standard menu available all day. The main attractions are the fresh off the grill fish dishes like tilapia, grouper, salmon, and sea bass. There are also plenty of pasta dishes to choose from. For the Italian palettes, try the chestnut gnocchi, cheese or sweet potato ravioli, or Thai spaghetti for something different.

Finally, Fish Market hosts a wide spread of cheese dishes that are not to be believed. Indulge in arancini balls (Balkan cheese in a rose sauce), Greek pizza, or a platter of cheeses in zaatar, olive oil, and dill.

Specialty

It’s hard to say which is more of a specialty for Fish Market. The fish is obviously par excellence, being delivered directly from the port and served as fresh as the summer day is long. Some diners will give this restaurant top marks for their cheese dishes, though. With a Grecian flair for flavor, unusual combinations, and downright decadent devices, these are certainly a specialty you don’t want to miss.

Pricing

Fish Market’s pricing varies depending on what you order. Pastas range from 60-70 NIS, while the fish dishes run closer to the 100 NIS range (though you can get a small fish entree for 35 NIS).
