Eilat Bay

September 13th 2010

Eilat Bay, the southernmost tip of Israel, includes a beautiful coral reef that straddles the equator. The warm water in the Red Sea enables coral to grow and thrive in the area. Visitors are welcome to come to Eilat Bay and snorkel or scuba dive around the coral and see the diverse fish life that call the Red Sea home. There is a wooden bridge that connects the shore to the start of the coral reef where visitors can either jump right in or take the steps into the water. On-hand for visitors are also jet skis, motorboats, pedal boats, and banana boats to take along the bay. There are also water sports and pleasure cruises available along the Eilat Bay.
