April 1st 2016
While Tel Aviv has many outdoor activities to keep tourists busy like the Jaffa Flea Market and Nachlat Binyamin Arts & Crafts Fair, with April coming along, we can’t all take the heat. If spending the hottest hours of the day walking in the sun is not for you, and you’d like to take a look at some incredible action, then you’ll want to check out the Automotor Show.
Presented in Israel since 1988, the show takes place in a number of different locations spread around the Tel Aviv fairground, and features all types of unique designs. It is unquestionably the most important motor event of the year which takes place in Israel, but appeals to even the casual fan who is simply looking for an interesting and exclusive day out over the holiday.
This year, the show is taking place during the intermediate days of Pesach, April 24-27. There are a number of different categories, but the one most likely to appeal to all visitors will be the very latest in super cars, the cars that would stop us in our tracks whilst walking down a street, and designs that appeal to a wide range of people, not just those who may be avid motor fans.
This year features vehicles in a wide variety of categories, including “Motoric innovations,” “The best in the world,” and “Legendary Icons” in sports, design, and innovative technology.
Presentations are made regularly by some of the biggest names in world automobiles, including Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes, and Aston Martin. This is an opportunity for fans of these famous brands to come and see what they are offering.
In addition, there are a number of interactive exhibitions throughout the program, featuring the very latest in marine, security, and sports vehicles. This element of the show is sure to be exciting for the whole family, and not only enthusiasts will be keen to catch several of these over the course of a visit.
Tickets are available for purchase here, and if you want to avoid the typical holiday traffic, enjoy a relaxing train ride to the event and you won’t have to worry about parking, as well. The price of 304NIS for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) is rather steep, but with a lot to see and experience over the course of a visit, it is well worth the price.
